It is one of the most modern stadiums in Germany and one of the noisiest. The old stadium was built in 1953 and took its current form at the beginning of the 21st century, with reconstruction work starting at the end of the 20th century. Its capacity is 57,000 seats and, among other things, it has hosted games of the German national football team. FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro matches have also been hosted throughout the years. It is located next to Volks Park and Bornmoorewiese Park. There you will also find the HSV Museum and restaurants.
