The old stadium was built in 1952 and since then has gone through various periods of renovations and reconstructions. For many years now it has met UEFA’s specifications to host international European matches. A trademark is the concrete arch in the main stand. Its capacity is 11,700 seats and many times it has been used for the matches of the Slovenian national football team. Many times the stadium has hosted concerts and performances. Nearby you will find an indoor sports hall, tennis courts and the monument to the great gymnast Josip Primožič.
