 FOOD AND DRINK

The cuisine of San Marino has Italian influences and for this reason you will see many recipes for pasta, macaroni and pizzas. For example, we would recommend you to try passatelli and ragu from pasta. San Marino is famous for its cheese production. So you realize that cheese should be a permanent accompaniment to your dishes. Also worth trying is the fagioli con le cotiche, chickpea soup, grilled pasta with beef and ham. Also the noodles that include garlic are very tasty. Try the roast rabbit, local spinach pie Erbazzone, Costolette di vitello and Nidi di rondine. If you want something quick while you stroll, then try piada. For dessert we would recommend you to eat the traditional Torta Tre Monti. Local wine or beer would be the best to accompany your food.
