RAKOW MUNICIPAL FOOTBALL STADIUM

It is one of the oldest stadiums in Poland, as it dates back to 1955 and was renovated in 2021. Its capacity is 5,000 seats and, among other things, a turf heating system has been installed. Around the perimeter is the Rakow Czestochowa store and training fields with backup facilities.

You will find the worldwide community of Jews and their descendants. It includes the third largest Jewish cemetery in Poland, with approximately 4,500 graves.

The traditional cuisine of Poland and of course Czestochowa will delight you with its smells and tastes. If you are a fan of soup, try Kwaśnica which is made from vegetables. For a meat dish try the traditional Rolada z modrą kapustą and accompany it with the Szałot salad. Traditional Krupnioki śląskie sausages have a special taste. Of course there are other soups that we would recommend you to eat such as Moczka or Wodzionka which has bread dipped in it! On top of that, the street food is equally excellent. Try traditional Knysza and Zapiekanka. Most meals have pork, vegetables and potatoes. Of course you will find restaurants with other cuisines from the Mediterranean, America and Asia. Definitely try the local beer.
