It is one of the largest stadiums in Europe that opened in 2011 and its capacity is 58,145 seats. The movable roof is a trademark of the stadium, because it can also be used as a concert venue. Outside the stadium is the monument to Kazimierz Gorski, it also has a bar-restaurant, and there is a go-kart track in the surrounding area. It has also hosted the final phase of UEFA Euro 2012.

In front of the building is the column of Zygmunt, one of the most historical monuments of the city.

It is the museum dedicated to the city’s uprising in 1944 and you will have the opportunity to see many exhibits from that period.

It was built in the 14th century in the Masovian Gothic style and was the site of coronation or burial ceremonies during the Duchy of Masobia. The church acquired its current form after the Second World War and the destruction it had suffered at the hands of the Nazis.

It is a magnificent baroque royal residence dating from the mid-17th century and became the property of King John Sobieski III. Now it is a museum, where you can see the royal apartments, party halls, the Art Gallery with effigies of Polish monarchs collected over the centuries, magnates of the country and people honored by Poland.

With a height of 237 meters, it is one of the most important attractions of the city. It was built in 1955 as a gift from Joseph Stalin to the Polish people and is now a place for cultural and scientific events. Go up to the 30th floor to enjoy the view.

Warsaw is famous for being a culinary paradise and it’s worth trying the traditional food. The pork is of course in the foreground. Try pierogi, golonka and accompany pyry z gzikiem or to pyzy which are boiled or baked potatoes. Of course taste the traditional zurek soup, chlodnik soup or bigos soup. Be sure to try Bigos, traditional Tripe (delicate beef giblets), Zrazy which is a meat dish, Kotlet schabowy. For street food eat zapiekanka. Accompany your meal with traditional beer or mulled wine. Restaurants that have Mediterranean, Arabic, Asian and American cuisine can be found in every corner of the city.
