It was opened in 1959 and is one of the hottest stadiums in Greece and Europe. Its capacity is 28,700 seats and it is located in one of the most popular neighborhoods of Thessaloniki. In the past it has been used, apart from being the “home” of PAOK FC, for football matches of the National team. Concerts of leading artists have also been held. In 2004, it was the training ground for the football teams that participated in the Athens Olympic Games. Among other things, visit the PAOK FC store located at the stadium.
