It is the «home» οf LOSC Lille with a capacity of 50.186 seats. Parc De Princes built in 2012. It is a modern stadium that has hosted Eurobasket 2015, UEFA EURO 2016 games, 2024 Summer Olympic Games and concerts of internationally renowned artists. The original name of the stadium was Grand Stade Lille Métropole. The death of former Lille mayor Pierre Mauroy has led city and club officials to rename it as «Pierre Mauroy» in 2013.

*** EGLISE SAINT-MAURICE (Parv. Saint-Maurice, 59800 Lille)
The construction of the church, which has Gothic architecture, began to be built at the end of the 14th century and in 1868 the last expansion took place. During the French Revolution, it became a temple of logic. Inside the church you will see decorated with numerous paintings by local painters of Lille of the 17th and 18th centuries.
*** MUSEE DE L’HOSPICE COMTESSE (32 Rue de la Monnaie, 59800 Lille)
It is located in the hospital built in 1237 by Countess Jeanne of Flanders and ceased to operate as a hospital in 1939 . The buildings date since 15th century. In 1962, the process of presenting paintings, carved wood, furniture and pottery from the area began, to remind the interior of a 17th-century Flemish religious house.

This street is in the center of the city and you will see houses with architectural and neoclassical style that will take you in an imaginary journey to old Lille. It’s a great place to take photos and see how the owners of the mansions had different decorations on the facades, because they wanted to be different from each other! However, in height all the houses are the same.
*** CATHEDRALE NOTRE DAME DE LA TREILLE (Pl. Gilleson, 59800 Lille)
This is the cathedral of the Archbishop of Lille, is the basilica of Notre Dame de Paris and has been for many years the place for large gatherings at key moments in the life of the Church. It began construction in 1854 and continued until 1947. The facade was built in 1999.
*** MAISON NATALE CHARLES DE GAULLE (9 Rue Princesse, 59000 Lille)
The former President of the French Republic, Charles de Gaulle, was born in this house on November 22, 1890. It was the home of his grandparents and has been converted into a museum in recent years. You will see de Gaulle personal belongings and a house typical of the industrial petty bourgeoisie of northern France in the late 19th century.
*** MUSEE D’ ART ET D’ INDUSTRIE ANDRE DILIGENT (23 Rue de l’Espérance, 59100 Roubaix)
It is located about 20-30 minutes away from the center of Lille. It was built in 1932 and you will discover collections of applied arts and Fine Arts of the 19th and 20th centuries.

*** Visit Zoo de Lille. It is a small area with birds, mammals and reptiles in theme areas.
*** It is worth taking a souvenir photo at Town Hall and Belfry. You can climb the 400 steps to the top and enjoy the view. There is of course an elevator too.

*** Walk to the Citadelle de Lille and you will be impressed.
FOOD AND DRINK
Try the wonderful and authentic flavors of northern France, such as Flamiche au Maroille pie with cheese and cream, Coq à la bière rooster and Chicon au gratin turkey. If you are a fan of beef, Flemish France and Lille are famous for their Carbonnade flamande. Obviously you should also try the crepes and the wonderful butter croissants. Beer and wine flow abundantly in Lille.
