It was opened in 2001 and meets UEFA standards for club competitions and for the games of the Estonian national football team. Its capacity is 14,336 and is the largest football stadium in the country. It has hosted many major UEFA competitions in the past, such as the UEFA Super Cup and the European U19 Championship.
