WHERE TO STAY
The most expensive hotels are in the cetrral. If you want to explore London mainly on foot, stay between Mayfair and Covent Garden. If you are looking for something cheaper, but still relatively central, take a look in the Marylebone and Fitzrovia areas. You can find excellent and cheaper hotels in Kensington and Paddington, but these areas are not in central London.
