AARHUS STADIUM

It is one of the oldest stadiums in Denmark, as it dates back to the 1920s. Its capacity is 19,433 seats and it is in a sports complex that is an outlet for all the residents of Aarhus. After many reconstructions almost every 20 years, it has taken its final shape and is a modern stadium. It has hosted a match of the Danish national football team, concerts and track and field events. It is located in an idyllic landscape surrounded by trees. In the surrounding countryside you can find a picturesque cycle track and a stadium for athletics.

FOOD AND DRINK

Aarhus cuisine is delicious with many gourmet recipes. Be sure to try the smørrebrød which is an open rye bread sandwich topped with a variety of toppings and served with herring, salmon, shellfish, eggs, raw beef and more. You can eat the special Danish hot dog, but also the traditional Æbleflæsk, smushi, kartofler, stegt flæsk med persillesovs, frikadeller, flæskesteg and karbonader. Of course you can find other cuisines to taste from the Mediterranean, Asia, Africa, USA and Latin America. It goes without saying that you should accompany your food with a nice glass of wine or one of the local beers.
