It opened its doors in 1980 and has undergone several renovations since that year, so that NK Osijek fans and visitors alike are happy. The truth is that its construction began in the distant 1949, but it officially opened its gates almost 30 years later! This stadium has hosted matches for the Croatian national football team. Its capacity is 17,061 seats.

Osijek has excellent culinary options. The traditional food of the city is Perkelt od soma, which will take you back centuries and looks like a stew! Čobanac is a traditional meat stew and of course you should try Fiš paprikaš which is a traditional stew. You can also find restaurants with cuisines that have influences from all over the world. Rakija is a must-try drink.
