It dates back to 1952 and got its current form in 2016. It went through several periods of reconstruction and is considered a stadium where the fans create a fantastic atmosphere. Its capacity is 16,000 seats. The stadium is named after the leading Albanian football player and coach who lived from 1922 to 1984. It is used for football matches, but also for games of the Albanian national football team. Around the stadium there is a commercial department store, a cafe and restaurants.
