VADUZ: The traditional Käsknöpfle dish

Dear sports fans,

Vaduz is considered a paradise on earth with beautiful natural landscapes that will enchant you.

It is also a culinary paradise that will seduce your palate.

The wonderful smells of the city from the food being baked or boiled, will lead you to the decision to plan to visit the capital of Liechtenstein again.

A traditional dish is Käsknöpfle. In English it translates as “Cheese Buttons”.

Locals and tourists prefer it, because it is considered a delicious food that you will want to eat every day.

These are small noodles or pasta covered with fried onions and the dominant element is cheese.

Vaduz residents prefer to combine it with applesauce, while many prefer a salad.

We would recommend it to be one of the first dishes you should try in Vaduz. It has many fine foods that will charm you, but Käsknöpfle is something special.

An excellent choice to taste Käsknöpfle is the restaurant Wirtschaft zum Löwen (Im Winkel 5, 9488 Schellenberg).
