Dear sports fans,
Welcome to Salzburg, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and one of the most melodic cities in the world.
After all, it is the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and you can find his house at Getreidegasse 9, 5020 Salzburg.
From 1747 to 1773 the family of the leading composer lived on the third floor and since 1880 the museum has been housed in the specific building that was built in the 12th century.
On top of that, Wolfgang Amadeus was born in this particular house.
Visit his home museum and see Mozart’s childhood violin, handwritten sheet music, music publications, his first musical instruments and various personal items.
See also the harpsichord on which he composed The Magic Flute in 1791, an opera in two acts.
On the other floors you can find period furniture and many more items that will take you back in time and to the second half of the 18th century.
You will travel to a place where the great composer of classical music lived, walked, ate and composed.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 and died on December 5, 1791 in Vienna.
He died at the age of 35, suffering from an illness whose causes remain somewhat of a mystery. He said, before he died, that he had been poisoned, but this was not confirmed.
