ROTTERDAM: Markthal, the building with a thousand “faces”

Rotterdam is one of the largest ports in the world and one of the most mysterious cities in the Netherlands.

It has several attractions that we would recommend you to visit and spend enough time in order to learn everything about the Dutch city.

But there is one place that will leave you speechless: Markthal!

The covered food market is a hybrid building that combines many uses.

The 40-meter-high arch building houses fresh food markets on the ground floor and the 1st basement level, retail stores and cafes on the first floor, parking spaces with more than 1,200 spaces, apartments that reach up to 300 m2 and has more than 10 floors, each of which has something special!

It houses a total of over 220 apartments and its glass facade makes it unique of its kind in the world!

The interior is equally impressive with the special digital 3D techniques used to create an impressive result.
