ROME: Trapizzino, the street food you will love

Rome is one of the top tourist destinations. It is a city that you can visit at any time of the year to spend magical moments with your friends or family.

And the gastronomy of the Italian capital is one of the biggest assets for any lover of travel and good food.

Rome has excellent restaurants that offer haute cuisine, with pizzas and pastas being in a prominent position.

However, it is also worth trying some street foods that are part of the culture and gastronomy of Rome.

We would definitely recommend that you try the trapizzino. It is a pizza… pocket! It is made of white dough and filled with a filling of meat or vegetables that is traditionally served in a small package.

In the filling you can put chicken caciatora, tripe, tongue with salsa verde, beef, meat that looks like meatballs and many more.

The Roman cooks who make trapizzino constantly add elements from Roman cuisine and since 2005 it has been one of the most beautiful and delicious street foods in the city.
