PARIS: Marché des Enfants-Rouges, the oldest covered market!

Dear sports fans,

Paris offers you many options to have fun, eat, drink and experience unique experiences in museums, historical sites and famous attractions.

A special experience is the Marché des Enfants-Rouges. It dates back to 1615 and is the oldest covered market in Paris!

It has been the reference point of the city for four centuries. It is one of the most beautiful markets in the world to taste local delicacies, sit in the wonderful shops, gossip and live, as Parisians and tourists lived many decades ago.

You’d be remiss if you didn’t take some time to browse the Marché des Enfants-Rouges and sample some of the local produce.

Over the years the market has passed many tests. Some wanted to turn it into a parking lot, but luckily logic prevailed and to this day it is one of the most important and famous markets of the city.
