Dear sports fans,
Milan is the city of fashion and sports. But it also has many museums that will flood you with images and you will remember them for the rest of your life.
We would recommend combining your trip to Lombardy with visits to many of the museums that adorn the city.
If you could stay longer than the three-four days that most fans take for a football game, then you would have a unique opportunity!
On the first Sunday of every month all the city museums of Milan are free!
Museo del Novecento, Castello Sforzesco, Archaeological Museum, Gallery of Modern Art, Museum of Natural History, Civic Aquarium, Brera Art Gallery, Leonardo’s Last Supper, Armani Silos, Luigi Rovati Foundation and Gallerie d’Italia are some of the museums you can visit visit without paying a ticket.
Some of them allow you to visit them for free every first and third Tuesday of the month, from 2:00 pm onwards.
Milan gives you a great opportunity to experience the cultural heritage of a city most of you know for fashion.
