LONDON: Sing “We are the Champions” in Freddie Mercury’s neighborhood!

Dear sports fans,

London offers you rich images of culture, sport and stately beauty.

Many call the British capital a city that is a whole museum.

An alternative suggestion to spend a few hours in places that are not so well known is Logan Place in Kensington. Specifically the Garden Lodge!

It is a two-story detached house that was built at the beginning of the 20th century and over the years was inhabited by great personalities.

One of them was Freddie Mercury who lived there from 1980 until the last day of his life on November 24, 1991.

Walk through the neighborhood where lived the man who, together with his ‘companions’ in the rock band ‘Queen’, composed and sang the legendary ‘We are the Champions’.

After the death of the legendary singer the spot and the outer wall became a place of worship and memory for Freddie Mercury.

It’s not a neighborhood that has a well-known attraction, but the aura of Freddie Mercury is enough to walk around Logan Place.
