LIVERPOOL: The favorite pub of John Lennon and the Beatles!

Dear sports fans,

Liverpool is not just a city that lives and breathes football. It is the birthplace of the Beatles and one of the cities that loves music.

However, the Philharmonic Dining Rooms (Address: 36 Hope St, Liverpool L1 9BX) is worth a visit. It’s not a pub like any other.

This is the pub that was one of John Lennon’s favorite places and by extension the other members of the Beatles.

This particular pub has been declared a First Class Historic Monument.

A few years ago, in 2018, Paul McCartney rushed to do an impromptu gig at the Philarmonic Dining Rooms as soon as he was in Liverpool.

John Lennon once said that “the worst thing is that you can’t have a glass of beer at Phil anymore.”

The historic pub was built in a building dating back to 1898. Its stone facade and impressively decorated interior have given it an awesome beauty unlike any other pub.

Those who have visited it talk about the entrance gate being considered one of the most beautiful in England.

But mainly it is a historic pub because of the aura it gives off. The fact that John Lennon once frequented it with the rest of the Beatles makes it special in itself.
