However, one of the greatest bands in the history of the world music scene was “born” in Liverpool.
The Beatles started writing their songs on the streets of Merseyside and managed to conquer the world in a very short time.
It is worth visiting The Beatles Story which is a museum and has many exhibits from the members of the legendary band.
Located on the historic Royal Albert Dock, it opened in 1990.
George Harrison’s first guitar, John Lenon’s glasses, recreation of the “Imagine” room, John Lennon’s Hip Flask presented from Stuart Sutcliffe, Casbah Coffee Club’s guitar, George Harrison’s last Cavern guitar, guitar used by Paul McCartney, representations of The Casbah Coffee Club, The Cavern Club and Abbey Road Studios and many more historical relics.
