LISBON: Explore the city with the iconic tram “28”

Dear sports fans,

Lisbon is a wonderful city with many traditional neighborhoods that you should discover.

It is worth choosing a traditional way to enjoy every inch of the Portuguese capital up close.

What is this way? Take the tram number “28”! It follows the route from Largo Martim Moniz square and ends at the stop in front of the São Vicente de Fora church.

This particular tram crosses the incomparably beautiful part of the historic center and the most famous sights of the city.

The “28” is loved by tourists and there are times during the day when the tram is full and you may have difficulty finding a seat.

Especially during rush hours, the situation becomes more difficult, because it is also used by Lisbon residents to go to their jobs.

For this reason, we would recommend tram number “12” as an alternative option, which follows a similar route.
