*** ΤΗΕ GUILDHALL MUSEUM (Guildhall Ln, Leicester LE1 5FQ)

It once functioned as the town hall. Its construction is wooden and its first part was made in 1390.

It’s about 20 minutes away from the city center. If you have time, we suggest you visit it.

It’s about 40 minutes away from the city center. Ιt was a Royalist garrison. Began as a manor house in the 12th century and reached castle status in the 15th century.

It collects and displays the industrial, technological and scientific heritage of the city.

*** KIRBY MUXLOE CASTLE (Off Oakcroft Ave, Kirby Muxloe LE9 2AP)

This fortified mansion was built for Lord Hastings, who executed by Richard III in 1483. Work on the castle was begun in 1480.

*** VICTORIA PARK (Granville Rd, Leicester LE1 7RY)

It’s about 69 acres and 5km walk. A green space, which built to commemorate the dead of the First World War. Τhe imposing arch dominates in the park. See the beautiful wrought iron gates at the parks Peace Walk and London Road entrances.

In the heart of the city, it’s the mother church for the Diocese of Leicester and the seat of the Bishop of Leicester.
