Dear sports fans,
Those visiting Istanbul for a sporting event, then be sure to be enchanted by the culture, wonderful museums and excellent cuisine of a city scented with delicious local food.
However, we strongly recommend that you spend several hours (even a day) exploring Princes’ Island.
Istanbul is a bustling city and a cruise to Princes’ Island will give you picture perfect and calming views, watching the beaches, the magnificent buildings and the life of the islanders.
Princes’ Island is in the Adalar region and is an island group of islands.
The most famous are Büyükada, Burgazada, Kınalıada and Heybeliada. There are also uninhabited islands such as Sedef, Tavşan, Vordonos, Yassıada, Sivriada, Kaşık.
The best time to leave for the islands is early in the morning. Ferries depart from Kadıköy, Bostancı and Beşiktaş.
Most people visit Büyükada which is the largest of the islands. There are historic mansions, awesome beaches, picturesque streets and rich culture.
Kınalıada has the most holiday homes of Istanbul residents and is only half an hour away by ferry.
At Heybeliada you will find a cosmopolitan and artistic aura in your every step!
Burgazada is yet another island that is somehow the place where many artists and writers of Istanbul have walked.
