GENEVA: Charlie Chaplin’s home awaits you!

Dear sports fans,

Geneva is a paradise on earth. The Swiss city is worth visiting for its museums, architecture, stately atmosphere and delicious local delicacies.

If you have some free time, we would recommend taking the one-hour road trip to Corsier-sur-Vevey to visit the former country estate of the late Charlie Chaplin’s family, the “Manoir de Ban” or as it is now called Chaplin’s World (Rte de Fenil 2, 1804 Corsier-sur-Vevey).

The world cinema legend lived the last 25 years of his life in Switzerland and his mansion with its huge park has been converted into a museum.

Visitors can learn everything about what Charlie Chaplin experienced and see up close his artistic path to global recognition.

Tour the mansion and the 14-acre park. Your tour of the museum will last approximately 2.5 hours. The aura, humor and artistic skills of Charlie Chaplin will revive before your eyes!

You will travel through the history of cinema during the 20th century and feel the magic of Charlie Chaplin, who had the unique gift of speaking to the whole world with… his silence, his grimaces and the flexibility of his movements.

For more information, visit the Chaplin’s World website.
