Those of you who will be in Edinburgh in November or December 2024 to watch your team play against Heart of Midlothian FC, then you can now arrange how you will spend your time in a magical Christmas landscape!
The Christmas season in Edinburgh opens on Friday 15 November 2024 to Monday 6 January 2025.
The festival events have not yet been announced, but this year they will take place in places that are held every year in the city.
In particular, there will be events at the East Princes Street Garden, Mound Precinct, West Princes Street Garden, George Street Ice Rink, St. Andrew’s Square, the Castle of Light, Edinburgh Castle, Botanic Gardens and Edinburgh Zoo.
And this year, the word Edinburgh is expected to sparkle at the top of the Mound for Christmas, and certainly if you’re lucky you’ll experience various concerts up close.
You will have the opportunity to taste glühwein, taste the local delicacies and be a kid again with your participation in the carousels.
The Christmas Market will definitely be in East Princes Street Garden and will be open daily until 10pm. Entry will of course be free.
