Dear sports fans,
If you like beer then you are in the right place! Dublin lends itself to drinking beer, but also to learning the history of the famous Irish beer Guinness.
The Guinness Storehouse is the ideal place to learn about the traditional techniques of the product, to see the wonderful facilities and to learn about all the secrets of one of the most famous beers in the world.
From the first moment you step into the space, you will travel back in time to when Arthur Guinness (1725 – 1803) decided to take up brewing. In 1759 he succeeded in inventing the beer that now bears his name with four basic ingredients, water, barley, yeast and hops.
On the seven floors of the museum you will have the opportunity to see exhibits related to the production of the famous beer for over two and a half centuries.
Don’t forget on the seventh floor to visit the Gravity Bar to try every version of Guinness beer and admire the panoramic view of Dublin.
The museum opened in 2000 and is located in the St. Jame’s Gate Brewery.
