We would recommend visiting the Great Market Hall. It is the Central Market of the Hungarian capital. It is a closed market and dates back to the 19th century (since 1897).
Located just a 5-minute walk from the center of Budapest, it has developed into one of the city’s most important destinations for travelers.
On the three floors you can find everything. Fruits, cured meats, spices, vegetables, meats, fish, simple sandwiches, wines, drinks and even various souvenirs!
It has restaurants where you can sit and eat fresh and cooked food.
The Great Market Hall is open every day, including Sundays.
You can also do tastings of the most special and unique Hungarian traditional foods.
