The Joan Antoni Samaranch Olympic and Sport Museum, located in front of the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium on Montjuïc Hill, is the ideal choice for anyone who loves sports and especially the history of sports.
The museum was named after Juan Antonio Samaranch (1920-2010), because he served as president of the IOC from 1980 to 2001 and played a decisive role in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
