The Olympic Museum in Athens is waiting for you to find objects and exhibits related to the history of the Olympic Games!
It is located inside the Golden Hall department store at 37a Kifisias Ave., Marousi 151 23.
You will be able to see up close modern Olympic medals and Olympic prizes, such as a bronze disc dating back to 241 AD.
There are exhibits related to the first Modern Olympic Games in 1896, ceremonial robes related to the Touching and Passing of the Olympic Flame Ceremony, various items from the 2004 Olympic Games, authentic mascots, memorabilia and many more collectible exhibits.
It is one of the most important museums that exist in the Greek capital and are related to sports.
Don’t forget, moreover, that Greece is the birthplace of the Olympic Games that began in Ancient Olympia in 776 BC.
