It was built in the second half of the 13th century and is one of the most important attractions of the city. It was a royal fortress and a new palace was built inside at the beginning of the 14th century.

The church was built around the end of the 14th to the beginning of the 15th century and is a Roman Catholic church that is one of the most important monuments of the city. The main altar depicts the Holy Trinity.

It is one of the most photographed churches in the city. It was built by Jesuits after their arrival in the mid-16th century as missionaries.

It dates back to the 14th century and is located on top of a limestone cliff in the Povazie area and on the left bank of the Váh River. It is located about 20 minutes away from the center of Zilina.

It is a picturesque Romanesque church that represents the architecture of the city territory of the previous centuries. It was built around the first half of the 15th century.

The history of the building starts from the beginning of the 16th century. Many stories have been heard. For example one legend said that there was a bell on top of the Town Hall and it rang whenever a condemned man was led to the place of execution.
