You’re in Transylvania and you’d be remiss if you dοn’t visit the Castle famous for the vampire legend Count Dracula. It’s about an hour away by car.

The cuisine of Transylvania is fascinating and you must try the traditional foods. The traditional dish is pickled cabbage rolls stuffed with meat and rice. Mititei which are like burgers, gulash, traditional soups (Ciorbă de Perisoare, Ciorba de fasole cu ciolan, Ciorba de burta), schnitzel, polenta with cheese and cream, carp brine,  and pork feast are some of the foods that we would recommend you to try. It goes without saying that you can find Mediterranean, Asian and American cuisines. For dessert, definitely try the traditional papanasi, vargabeles and alivenci. If you want street food, try the meat pies and langos.
