The cuisine of Andorra la Vella is mainly associated with Spanish and French. We would recommend you to visit restaurants that offer traditional cuisine. Try escudella which is a Catalan stew made from seasonal vegetables, meats and local sausages. The locals are proud of the Cargols (snails) and the special Trucha a la Andorrana which is grilled fish wrapped in pork ham. Also try Cunillo, Cod, Cannelloni Andorrana and Coca Massegada. For dessert we would recommend Crema Andorrana. The traditional drink is the iced Granizado, made from either fruit or coffee. Accompany your food with beer and wine.
