If you love walking and want to discover Ružomberok on foot, then you will find yourself in a spot that is considered one of the most photographed in the city.

They are even called the most legendary stairs in Slovakia, as you cannot find anywhere else six stairs, which connect almost the entire city.

The Ružomberok Stairs are the epitome of craftsmanship. The 579 steps will take you to A. Hlinka Square, which has a slight slope above the city center.

In total you will come across six stairs, each with its own name: Projects for “Školské“, “Tmavé“, “Ružové“, “Mostová Street Stairs”, “Severná ulička” and “Kláštorné“.

Most people know the “Školské” because they are the longest stairs with 155 steps.

By walking them you will be able to see most of the sights of the city.
