If you want to travel back in time, then you should visit “Laiki Geitonia” which in English means “Popular Neighborhood“.

It was created with the sole purpose of preserving the atmosphere and character of Old Nicosia dating back to the early 1900s.

Specifically, it is located on Aristokyprou and Praxandrou streets, while over the years several other streets have preserved the character of the old city.

In “Laiki Geitonia” you will find cultural venues, shops selling local products, many restaurants, cafes and bars to have a wonderful time with a good meal or a good drink.

See the magnificent architecture of the buildings, the paved square, the cobblestone streets of the houses and shops and wander the cobblestone streets with the arcades that create wonderful images.

It is one of the areas that will charm and enchant you from the first moment you find yourself in Nicosia.
