The landmark is the Stari Most. The iconic bridge, which is the city’s top attraction, has quite a few stories to tell you!

Next to the famous Stari Most is the Muzej Stari Most (address Kujundžiluk bb, Mostar 88000), where you can learn all about the historic bridge built in 1566 by the Ottoman architect Mimar Hayruddin.

In the museum you will not only see everything related to the architecture of the bridge, which is a powerful symbol of peace for the people of Mostar.

You will see exhibitions about the destruction of the bridge in 1993 during the Bosnian war and how the damage was repaired after about a decade.
