If you want to admire him up close, or to be precise, if you want to see the biggest statue of Pinocchio up close, then Borås gives you that possibility.

Its title is “Walking to Borås”. When the unveiling took place in 2008, there was a bit of an uproar in the local community of Borås.

Some reacted to its construction cost which was rumored to be over $10 million!

Finally, it was voted by Borås City Council and is one of the city’s most important attractions.
