Although it suffered total destruction, over the years it was rebuilt from scratch and is one of the rising &#8220;powers&#8221; of Serbia. It has influences from Hungarians and Slovaks, as in the middle of the 18th century several families arrived in the city and stayed. It is a city that you can visit in two days and you will definitely fall in love with it.</p>

Traditional foods you can taste are cepavi, pljeskavica, karadordeva snicla, sarma, stuffed pork loin, muckalica, and sausages. We would recommend you to try the chorba soup as well. If you want a street food, then definitely try the traditional Gibanika. The traditional drink is rakija, but of course you can pair your food with wine and local beer.</p>
